  1. TENSION DISKS (lower) - the lower of the 2 tension mechanisms has a typical beehive spring but the 'disc' in the middle of it all is more like a pulley - 2 disks joined. Not sure how cranking up the pressure on the spring is going to alter the tension if the thread runs through this middle part??? Thanks
  2. PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS & sales. The product (in fact all leather work) has the potential to uplift the spirits. When everything in the world is automated these products are potentially refreshing. That inspired/refreshing little story doesn’t come across in each little e-commerce product description on your site – it must. Folk (other than your mum and dad) don’t care about how you got to design each thing. Folk want a little relevant gem of a story to share with their mates when they show off your stuff. Well done for canvassing feedback. There is an overall editing-down job to be done but those descriptions are what I’d tackle first.
  3. Remember there are 2 sides to this: - the tech side which affects the user experience (crashes etc) and the content/relevance side which impacts user experience in terms of sales. If you're gonna go through this updating process then put as many eggs in the professional word editing, updating and reframing of your content basket. This observation applies to any biz . You've got a head start with your b**sh** detector. Happy to chat.
  4. 45k58 First machine of this class. Never used or serviced a large oscillating bobbin machine. Managed to find user manuals - is there a service manual available? Is the timing pinned i.e not something I ever need to worry about - like some class 15 clones? If I remove the hook assembly for cleaning/servicing will timing get put out? There's 1 large screw beneath the 'race' - is it undo that and let it all fall forward? Any guidance on the foot spring adjustment - looks like you can sort of make it walk? Pressure spring mechanism on top looks quite complex - what's going on? Thanks, folks. Service manual? or manual close enough to give me a head start? Is it similar to a 132?
