  1. I finally got some time to play with mine and it is great! For the 1st time, I am happy with my edges. Thanks!!!
  2. Do you think that would work? Seriously... I have done in the neighborhood of 10ish holsters now. The one area that I am insecure about is the burnishing. It is OK, but could be much better. Oh well, constant improvement and all that.
  3. Got mine today. Looks great!
  4. Nice! I would like to get one.
  5. Just a note to avoid any confusion. The link is to Tandy's website.
  6. Can I be your friend? You have a very lucky buddy.
  7. Tandy emailed me instructions on how to sharpen an edge beveler today. Thought someone might find it useful. http://www.tandyleatherfactory.com/media/d...velerHow-To.pdf
  8. I don't have an answer for you, since I am pretty new at this, but it might help the others if they knew what kind of dye you used.
  9. Just make sure you call them 1st to make sure they have it in stock. My local HF often is out of stock on the things I am looking for. Bruce, I already have a 12-ton press. Do you think that would work?
  10. The 1st holster I did in resoline for my wife. I brushed it on and it had that tacky feel you describe. It went away after 3-4 days. Now I airbrush it in light passes. I have only had one problem with streaking doing that, but I used too much and it was a little cold. The rest have turned out perfectly.
  11. Jordan, can't wait to see what you work up. Beautiful work, Dwight.
  12. My groover was tight like that as well. I had to add a drop of Kroil and let it soak overnight so that I could adjust it. It turns smooth now. https://secure.concentric.com/kanolabs.com/kanopnlu.html
  13. Cool, thanks! I haven't played with kydex yet, but I just might have to.
