  1. Those bags are great. Thanks for showing them off, this is the kind of stuff that I joined this to see. It helps to inspire people. Thanks again
  2. Thanks to both of you for the advice I really appreciate it.
  3. That is a very cool idea. It looks great.
  4. This is my first time posting on a forum but I really think that this is going to be the best way to get the information I am looking for. I have been hand sewing small leather projects for a couple of years now for personal use and for gifts. Recently a couple of people have asked me to make specific things for them like belts, holsters, and even luggage. I really want to get set up to produce more items but I want to do it more efficiently. I would like to get some advice about a sewing machine that can be used for my upcoming leather projects particularly small luggage and can also be used to sew heavy material like canvas for tents and tarps. I have researched some heavy duty machines but I'm wondering if I need to look for a machine with a post or cylinder bed instead of a flat bed so that I can sew a greater variety of things. I'm willing to spend some money on this because I love working with these projects and it feels like it recharges my batteries after working my full time job. I am looking forward to the advice of the forum. Thanks in advance.
