  9. Hey all, I've been dragging my feet on doing this for almost 2 years now. The time has finally come. Artisan Toro 3000 $1600 I'm the original owner. It comes with everything it came with new. Flat top table (not installed in pic), 4 bobbins, 3 different presser feet, misc tools, oil, work light, DVD. I'm also throwing in the thread shown in the pic white, black, brown, and tan. The thread is a mix of #277 and #346 and 2 packs of needles. I cannot ship this. It's located in Raleigh NC. Pull the DOT snaps in bulk. I have roughly 500 each of the Caps, Sockets (hard strength), and Studs, 250 each of the posts asking $250 shipped, I don't want to separate these. A full box of 1000 regular strength sockets $175 shipped. These are all in government black. Will do $400 shipped for all of the snaps. I used 6/32 x 3/8 black machine screws and 6/32 T nuts to attach the studs. I have a few hundred of both I can throw in for another $20. Dummy guns $35 each shipped. $5 off per gun if you buy more than one. Some of the safeties have been ground off. I would make an indention in the leather to match the requested safety position. On the 1911's I drilled a hole and used an after market safety to mold them. I only have one of the after market safeties so you will most likely get one with it ground out and a drilled hole for the safety post. In no particular order: Kimber Solo 1911 5" Operator w/ Rails 1911 5" 1911 4" 1911 3" Beretta PX4 Storm Full size Beretta PX4 Storm sub compact Beretta 92FS Keltec PF9 Ruger LC9 with Crimsontrace Ruger LCP Ruger LCP with Crimsontrace Smith M&P Shield Smitth Bodyguard Smith model 4506-1 H&K USP Compact H&K 45C H&K P7M8 Walther PPS Taurus 738 TCP Sig P238 with sig laser Sig P238 Sig P938 Sig P230 Sig P226 rails Sig P290 Sig P229 rails Sig P225 Sig P226 Sig P229 Sig P239 Springfiled XD sub compact 3" Springfiled XD 4" Springfield XDS 3.3 Springfield XDM 4.5" Glock 19 Glock 36 Glock 26 Glock 21 Glock 17 Crimson Trace laser for Kahr 437 $100 shipped...No battery I have a Kahr 380 dummy with a Crimson trace 433 bolted to it floating around somewhere. $100 shipped for the laser when I can find it. $35 for the dummy... This is assuming I can find it. WIll use PayPay for everything.
  10. For the holster belt loop attachments I've been using something a little different. I use the standard 6-32 T-nut sandwiched between the two pieces of leather. But then I add a piece of 1mm thick rubber between the belt loop and holster body. I find this stops the belt loop from spinning and still allows enough movement to allow the belt loop angle to conform to the body. As in when you go from a seated to a standing position, I don't like the idea of having the belt loop in a fixed position. I find it more comfortable if it can move a little. I couldn't find a place that sold rubber washers like what I wanted so I make my own out of bicycle inner tubes, another hobby of mine so they don't cost me anything. I believe the material is Polybutylene. I use a 7/8" punch to cut em out and a hole punch in the center. They make a world of difference compared to nothing there. Here is a picture.
  11. Seems like a holster maker would have many many holsters. Unfortunately its not so, for me at least. Seems like I always have to decide between making money or a new holster and money almost always wins. LOL The 1911 set I've had for a while now, the Sig mag carrier and holster I just made. The Sig grips are from Larry Davidson. http://www.davidsonknives.com/ I absolutely love the grips. They look great and most importantly feel great too.
  12. I know this has nothing to do with holsters or leatherworking. I'm only sharing it here because I thought other holster makers might like the idea or even want to use the targets themselves. The idea was not totally mine it was a spin off of my GF's idea and I thought it sounded like fun. I made a bunch of printable targets and posted them on my website. 70 to be exact. Also found out I'm not the first to do this. There are lots of free printable targets out there. Figured it could be good advertisement. Anyways feel free to use the idea or targets yourselves. Enjoy! http://woolfegunleat...page=page&id=13
  13. I use 40 durometer. I think this is the same stuff here that I have product number 8633K63 from mcmaster carr. It was a while ago when I ordered mine. http://www.mcmaster....-rubber/=camlxj
