Tandys All in One Cherry Red....

My inspiration is a man named Ben Moody - I have been very fortunate to have a small collection of his work. I look at it and I wonder how did he do this or that and I am simply amazed. When I met him I yanked an old wallet out that I did when I was 18 and carried for 30 years and said "I do leather too" - he was the nicest guy, he looked at this thing and actually told me "you do good work too" - what a nice thing to say when holding a wallet I carried forever, even though it was not carved very good. I have 5-6 belts and a handful of other orignals and a very very nice carving of a lady holding flowers that Ben did, also numerous doodle pages and midas pages. Also I am inspired by our own TomSwede - The work he turns out is classic. I currently am patterning alot of my stuff after items I see from TomSwede. But like the others have said there all way way to many inspirations on this website. You can get to the point where you see something and you dont even have to look at who made it and you will know, however there are also times they will suprise you and step outside their comfort zone and still hit a home run.

MudFlap Girls Wallet Back
CowboyDon replied to CowboyDon's topic in Purses, Wallets, Belts and Miscellaneous Pocket Items
I used the Tandy E294 tools. And also at various points you can tilt the tool on its side and hit it harder and make the backgrounder go deeper. oh yeah .. that was just a wallet and the fingers feel it big time. Imagine doing a binder or photo album. -
I learned HTML using notepad to due my markup. Then I graduated to Textpad (more smarts) and by the time I got to Frontpage I could fix anything FP screwed up. HTML is very very easy to pick up on, I showed my mother in law (65) a few basic things and she went on to create a great family website using only notepad. I have Expression Studio 2 now and things are good. Been creating basic websites for 11 years and still have my day job.. lol

I have the same issue, however it only occurs when I am using OPERA. I use IE 7 at the job and never see any issue. My workaround is logon to site as normal - get the error - and then access site via my bookmark and I am signed to site with no issue.. again this using OPERA.

I am a new crafter who has loved leather my whole life. Thanks for everyone who shares advice and techniques, remember there is always someone who greatly appreciates it!
