These are some of the boots which I completed this past year.

Including "Big Medicine" my entry to the '09 Sheridan show.

So as not to be pigeon holed as 'just a boot maker', I show some of my other projects over the years.

These Waxed French Calf Buckaroos, were made for a Kansas Cowboy.
The 390 Burgandy Water Buffalo tops, from Garlin Newmann Leather, are topped with a collar of the same leather as the foot, turned grain side out.
The inseam stitch is done by hand using a monofillement "taw" twisted onto the "lace".
The Shank cover is pegged into place over the shank, and the "rand" lift gives a firm support as a Spur Shelf.
Next the Belgian Chestnut Tanned Soles are pegged in the shanks, and stictched on my 317 Rapid E Curved Needle Stitcher.
The 2" heel is built one later at a time of "jacked" lifts, shaped on my sander, using repeatedly finer grits of paper, and then hand finished and polished.

Here's a pair of Red and Turquoise Kangaroo boots I just finished.
As a challenge of something alittle different for boots, I dyed the sole and heel edges. used Feibings Red with a touch of Buckskin to bring it back from burgandy.
The single row of stitching is size 69 turquoise thread.

I made this boot up as a disply boot for a Silent Auction Fund Raiser for the upcoming Arizona Centennial Feb. 12, 2012.
The top is kangaroo, and the foot is rough out French Calf. It is an 11" tall Tejas style construction.

Veg tanned band with kangaroo binding, leather feathers coloring acrylic with a glitter additive.
