Adam Ellis Master Saddler

Adamʼs desire to produce high quality saddles and saddlery which was individually designed to the horse and rider was paramount to the focus of his business and continues to be so today. UK Saddles Ltd sponsors and looks to support some of our younger stars of the future in both dressage, eventing and show jumping. 

Adam is quite unique as a Master Saddler to be a true horseman as well. This life long knowledge of horse and rider has undoubtedly resulted in him developing a range of saddles and saddlery which are demanded worldwide for its quality and individual tailoring to horse and rider. Adam teaches all our 400 and 500 level courses.

Carol Patty, Saddler & Saddle Fitter

Longtime saddler/saddlefitter for Adam Ellis, Albion, and Patrick Saddlery Saddles, Carol refits and repairs saddles from any manufacturer, and is one of Sankey Saddleryʼs qualified repair people in the United States. Carol was trained in bridle making and repairs by Master Saddler David May in England, and in saddle making by Master Saddler Adam Ellis.

Carol, having been trained as a physicist and engineer in college (B.S Physics University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill, M.S. Environmental Engineering University of Colorado- Boulder), brings a engineer's perspective to saddle and tack design and fit while maintaining the traditions of English saddlery.
