  1. Thank you! Just begun another one, trying to practice my "tooling skills", seems so easy when I watch-it on others (YT videos) but when I started.... I'll be there in few years (10-20), but is fun and if leather working is still keeping me away of daily routine is ok and I'll not give up
  2. Any advice or criticism are welcome. Also if any ideas/pattern for tooling my next notebook cover (floral or animals), to share I will be grateful. Thanks for your time!
  3. Thanks everyone for the encouragement words and especially for the tips provided. Now (because I understood) I can say I do have veiner stamp, just did not know how to use it on the flower, but i will surely try. @fredk - location updated regards,
  4. Thank you Sturme! I use a cheap set of stamping tool, Chinese made. Sorry my lack of knowledge, but by "veiner" you mean that hammer leather craft?
  5. Hi everybody!, Among all the pieces of art viewed here, maybe you will find some times to check my beginner work. My main challenge was to sew 4 layers of leather around 1.7 mm thick each. Can not find any thinner leather in my area and I just do not afford a leather skiving machine So the stitch came out not very right ...any tips are well appreciated, as for the tooling is one of my first try, so... Thanks for your time and tips, regards, F
