Is it possible to dye the rough/flesh side of leather? Seems it would be cheaper and possibly easier to dye rather than use double the leather to make both sides presentable- not trying to make both sides identical just presentable. Thanks, Jeremy

New to leatherworking as a hobby and am loving it but its eating up money fast. Not looking to make a business of it just sell on occasion to offset all the costs. My question and concern is I've mainly been getting free patterns online or trying to replicate interesting stuff I see online. I'm curious about selling something I've made and getting in trouble for having sold a design that's copy written, trademarked, etc. or how that would work. Thanks, Jeremy

I was wondering where the best place to buy leather online? I'm brand new to the hobby and have been buying my supplies mainly from Tandy Leather which is an hour from my location in Missouri. Hello, brand new to attempting leatherworking and was curious why you would dye leather instead of just buying the color you want? Was watching a video and the crafter dyed all the leather black and was wondering why they didnt just buy black leather. Thanks, Jeremy
