I wandered through geology as a profession to a farmer by vocation. Thus I was always attracted to using natural materials. So after battles fought, maiden won, I settled with wife, kids, dogs and sheep. Then I had to repair my velskoene (a simple leather shoe). I visited a local leather shop, bought some leather, thread and needle - and was hooked! But knowing that there must be more to the craft than cobbling, further enquiries directed me to a professional leatherworker and a whole new world opened up for me. Some tools where ordered and kindly delivered by Leerwerker two years ago and now I have difficulty distinguishing between what I have to do and what I want to do.
