  1. Thanks for the input. Has anyone tried one of the Vevor machines? It looks to be nearly identical to the JUKI DDL 8700...but it looks decent. https://www.vevor.com/sewing-machine-c_11158/sewing-machine-with-table-servo-motor-stand-ddl-8700-manual-p_010168544697
  2. Thank you everyone for all of the valuable information! I really appreciate it.
  3. I think I am in the middle of making the same error. I am looking to purchase this machine at an excellent price, but when I asked if I could test it out, they said it was missing the plug. I noticed it was a 4 wire plug and since then I have been trying to figure out if my garage can handle it. Or if I would need to run a whole new 220 circuit or something to power. I am not even sure what type of plug to put on it or what type of outlet to get. Any insights would be appreciated.
  4. Thank you for responding. Yes, I am in North America. Here are some pics. I just am not sure what kind of plug to even put on there or what type of outlet to have installed. Thanks again.
  5. Hello, I am hoping someone can help me out with what I thought would have been a simple internet search... I am looking to purchase a used Juki DDL-555-4 industrial sewing machine. When I asked if it was operational, they said it was missing the plug. When they sent the picture, it had 4 wires. Do these sewing machines need a 4 wire plug like a dryer would have? If so what kind of plug do I get? Thank you for any help
