  1. I thought I sent the following reply from my phone but, I don’t see it here so I’ll write it again: I found a video online of a gentleman (in the UK I believe) that was doing the same thing as I am on a similar machine. What I learned was there is a way to change the height of the shaft that the foot mounts to, that then allows the user to properly position the roller foot. Thanks for replying but, I think I’m all set. Regards…..
  2. Maybe. this is the one I bought that is "too long". The arm from center of screw to center of screw is 1.5 in. The shank length on the machine is 1" Here's a pic of what I bought (that doesn't fit): I think a 1/4 in shorter would work
  3. I'm trying to find a roller foot for a Singer 44-10. I bought one on Amazon but the arm the roller is attached to is too long and I'm not able to move it into position. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
  4. Wizcrafts, would you be able to show me on the attached photos where the big screw on the clutch housing is as well as the coil spring that holds back the clutch lever? I'm not sure where they are. Thank you, Phil
  5. I have a Singer 44-10 that has been gathering dust for the past 40+ years until I retired and started getting into leatherwork. Unfortunately the clutch motor is a bit too touchy for me to control the speed. Ive seen where replacing the clutch motor with a servo motor will solve that problem but, not sure which one to get. I would also like to retro fit it with a walking foot but have no idea if that is possible or where to get one if it is. Any recommendations are appreciated Phil
  6. I have a Singer 44-10 that I am trying to find a manual for. Singer online says the maintenance manual was discontinued. Also, the electric motor has grease fittings that one would need a grease gun for, one on either end, any idea what type of grease I should use? Thanks!
