bdetteg Posted November 1, 2007 Report Posted November 1, 2007 I'm posting a couple of pics of a cell phone case. It was a good learning experience and I'll do a little better at laying out the flap without getting tools marks all over the place next time. Open to other suggestions, however. --Bernadette Quote
Members Spencer G Posted November 1, 2007 Members Report Posted November 1, 2007 That looks great. Very nice and even basket weave. Just one question on the design, is it meant exclusively for a phone without an antennae, or is it tall enough that that becomes irrelevant? Spencer Quote
bdetteg Posted November 1, 2007 Author Report Posted November 1, 2007 It's tall enough for an antenna, at least for most phones. Quote
Members SmilinJim Posted November 2, 2007 Members Report Posted November 2, 2007 Good work Berndette. I like the baskedweave too. Nice and even. Keep on Smilin Jim Quote

Members Zilla Posted November 2, 2007 Members Report Posted November 2, 2007 I like your design and your basketweave is awesome Kevin Quote
TZHunter Posted November 10, 2007 Report Posted November 10, 2007 I always appreciate those of you artistic people who can do the stamping (basket weave) and bordering well enough to make it look good. . . looks very nice, I wish my first one looked this nice. I think if you used an edger (about $10 from Tandy) around the flap you will get a more even bevel which looks and feels more professional. . .starting on my own without access to internet and forums like this. . . it took me 3 years to figure out that an edger actually existed. . . now I use it to finish all edges on my veg tanned pouches/cases, etc. Quote
