Prince Report post Posted November 2, 2007 It's been a while since I've been on the forums. Really busy you know. This is (some of) what I've been up to since the Gryphon Armor. More at http://Azmal.DeviantArt.com

Jordan Report post Posted November 2, 2007 Absolutely outstanding work. I can't think of anyplace I could wear it to tho. Mountain man rendevous are pretty popular here in Utah, but I don't think they wore armor.
Beaverslayer Report post Posted November 2, 2007 Welcome back Azmal. Thats just a perfect looking suit of armour. Extremely well done. That Batman mask, what did you use for the cushioning on it? Ken
Prince Report post Posted November 2, 2007 I used the padding stuff you can find at walmart. That mask was such a pain... Stuff/tools/equipment kept breaking lol. It was cursed
SmilinJim Report post Posted November 2, 2007 Great work, of course. The gloves are intense. All that plating to get movement. Are the joints very stiff? I know it's not weight of metal but is it tiring to wear? Seen some at the ren fairs but have no idea of what it takes to wear armour, let alone fabricate it. Still, a great job. Prince Report post Posted November 2, 2007 Depends on who makes it. The stuff I make is very easy to wear, joints are all very flexible and comfortable as well as functional. I have a friend who does cartwheels in that enormous brown/gold armor. Leather can also be heavier than historic steel plate but the misconception is that steel plate was very heavy, when actually it was relatively rather light and very functional. My leather leather armor is similar in function to metal plate.
