Assistance w/ Patent Elastic-type machine (Claes or Kochs Adler 'Universal Elastic'?): Bobbins, threading etc.

Here's some manuals & saved information that I was able to find, I'll try to upload any others I might have saved.

The other file has some assorted photos, including some measurements of the bobbin/shuttle hook, a comparison between the one for my machine and the Singer 29k, as well as images of my modified 29k shuttle alongside the original one.

There's also a few photos of the other shuttles that I received with the machine (they did not fit properly) and some measurements taken by the previous owner whom I suspect was trying to find a replacement. I cannot speak for how accurate they are, but I know how difficult this sort of information is to find.

Thanks very much for the manual and the bobbin photos. They will be helpful.

I don't think there are very many of these machines in New Zealand.

Hi Constabulary

I dont have very good pictures and the machine is not handy at present. Not sure if these pictures are any use or not.

Thanks

Hard to tell what shuttle / hook size you need.

Can you get us some measures?

What is the height of this "fence" and that is the diameter of the bottom of the shuttle carrier?

Hello Constabulary

I have finally managed to get the measurements you asked for.

Fence is 7 mm high and the diameter of the shuttle driver is 18.5 mm.

Thanks

I have kept some old shuttle drivers from a parts lot I bought some years so. The one on the left is close what you measured but I have to find my caliper... but I´m almost certain that yours is the machine with the smallest hook.

Later more...

small one in my case is 17.4mm in diameter and 8mm fence. so I really think you have a small hook machine.

Would you have any idea where I might get a shuttle for it? I have purchased a singer 29K shuttle but it is too big.

Thanks
