Luke,

I use staining and antiquing medium I picked up at the local craft store, mixed 50/50 with acrylic paint (the 89 cents a bottle stuff). It's worked fine for me so far. Hope this helps.

Sorry Freak, but I'm photographicly challenged at the moment. This stuff works just like antique or highlighter, except you can make it any color you want. Pretty cool stuff for cheap.

Luke, That is a real cool effect and great colors. Are those 1" letter stamps, or carved?

Ya gotta bear with me, I'm not the best photog, but here goes. Dyed with Pro-dye, a coat of Super-sheen, then white antique applied with a sable brush (only because that's what I used to mix it, no other reason) wiped off with a damp paper towel.

I am a newby to leather, and leather working.

You might lower the size of the resolutions or pix. count on the camera to make it smaller on your posts.

I just came across this thread today,

I use feibings neutral antique, mixed with acrilic white(cova dye etc.).

Put a good coat of resist on the black, then antique as usual, but not too much antique mixture.

It always worked for me. I could post a photo if necessary.

Hope yhis helps.
