Boriqua Posted February 15, 2023 Report Posted February 15, 2023 Just received their eflyer with this machine and wondered if anyone had anything good or bad to say about it. I had been eyeballing a tipmann for the longest but the tandy has a deeper throat and might be worth looking at. Any thoughts? https://tandyleather.com/pages/cowboy-outlaw Alex Quote
Members BigBore Posted February 15, 2023 Members Report Posted February 15, 2023 I have one and used it for the past two years or so. Love the machine overall. It definitely takes some trial/error in getting it set up properly and staying that way. Because it's arm powered, it's somewhat of a violent stroke which in turn knocks adjustments out of current settings, a little quicker. So...make sure you always test your stitch line on similar thickness/type before running a stitch on a final product. I'll never part with mine but it is now my back up as I recently bought a CB 4500. Good luck if you go that route. It's definitely a good machine and will stitch through a car if needed... Quote
