Members patricweill Posted November 10, 2007 Members Report Posted November 10, 2007 Hello all, I am stuck , I have been looking for a wider edge braid than the usual round edge or mexican edge braid but I have not found anything I have to lace around a knife sheath that is almost 2 cm thick ( I think about 3/4 inch?) and I like to ise 3 mm kangaroo lace thanks Quote
Ambassador The Major Posted November 12, 2007 Ambassador Report Posted November 12, 2007 Wow that must be one honkin knife. My suggestion would be this. If you bevel and round over the edges of the sheath, a round braid or mexican will look great especially with that 1/8" lace. You can also add a piece of leather around the edge to help with the curvature if you already made your holes. Quote
MikeG Posted November 14, 2007 Report Posted November 14, 2007 I don't know if this will help, but there's a nice thread on basketweave lacing under the sewing forum here. Quote
