Members Mrstsb Posted March 3, 2023 Members Report Posted March 3, 2023 This might be a strange question but could the JUKI LU-1510-7 be "de-modenised i.e. could all the pneumatic stuff, automatic thread trimming stuff, automatic foot lifter stuff be removed and just make it into good solid old fashioned sewing machine you could plug in at home without the need for a compressor to make it work. Members shoepatcher Posted March 3, 2023 Members Report Posted March 3, 2023 Yes you can. But why.? I have been sewing on plain machines since the 1960's. Decades of using plain jane machines. Starting using machines with toys in 2005. Juki 2210-7, 1610-7 post. One you have then, you do not want to go back to a plane janes. Yes, they are sometime hard to set and learn. But the results are well worth it. glenn Quote
Members Mrstsb Posted March 3, 2023 Author Members Report Posted March 3, 2023 I'd like to keep things simply as I'm really just learning how to sew. Have seen one for a good price but just want to put a servo motor on it as I don't know if all the fancy bits work Quote
