Members SFoglio Posted June 7, 2023 Members Report Posted June 7, 2023 I have two of these machines and I’m thinking about getting a newer model to replace them. Is there still a demand for these old work horses? Thanks Quote
AlZilla Posted June 7, 2023 Report Posted June 7, 2023 Certainly. A couple of 29-4s near me here in the rural far north US sold a few months back for $275 each. Anything else that is a newer patcher will either be a Chinese clone, or an Adler 30 series, or a Claes. At least the Adler 30 class uses the same bobbins and shuttles as the Singer 29 series. You sub-class 71 uses a small bobbin.
