Members Shoebox Posted July 3, 2023 Members Report Posted July 3, 2023 Hey Folks I have a JUKI LU 563 and unfortunately when using a tape attachment I had it shift and the needle bar come down and it broke my needle & needle bar thread guide. Of course now when I rotate the machine by hand I have a stiff spot that just isn't right. It will spin with the motor but of course is not proper. Any suggestions on where I should start? Quote
CowboyBob Posted July 3, 2023 Report Posted July 3, 2023 Sounds like a bent needlebar.Loosen the screw on the clamp inside the head & then spin the machine & see if it stops the bind.If so get a new needlebar. Quote

I thought so too and loosened the needle bar so it essentially floating and still there. I need to remove the needle bar entirely had limited time and struggled to figure it out. If anyone has a process down pat to remove the needle bar I'm all ears. Quote
