Dgaz Report post Posted July 18, 2023 Does anyone have a Beiler`s 8 inch strap cutting machine?I know there cheaper than others out there at $836.88 and hand crank they do have an option for a motor drive wondering how well it works. Cumberland Highpower Report post Posted July 18, 2023 I've never owned one of the strap cutters, so I guess I'm not much help.... I did have an embosser that they made. I just bought it on a whim when I came across it. I'd have to say I found it lacking in build quality, engineering and fit/finish. Really reminded me of something I would have made on a weekend with a saw, grinder and welder. (Not to mention a can of krylon). It did work though. As far as a strap cutter, they aren't rocket science and I believe Weaver Leather makes one in a similar fashion. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Dgaz Report post Posted July 18, 2023 Thanks for in input I was looking at the Weaver Master tool hand-operated strap cutter even at there sale price it`s $1,875.00 so Weaver is for their $1038.12 more not including shipping Thats a lot of leather I could buy you know.
