TheCoutureShop Report post Posted July 17, 2023 Hello Cowboy Bob, and the rest of the people on this conversation. I am needing some help. I was browsing through the web trying to help my wife with her Consew 199RB 1-A and I ended up in a conversation from 2017 in which Greg O'Neill was showing a picture of a needle plate CS139F and its corresponding feed dog CS415F. For the last two days I tried to find more information about these parts and his business Keystone Sewing Machine Co, in Philadelphia. After a quick search I realized the shop was closed. Then I proceed to try to find Mr. O'Neill, to see if he could help. After a search here in leatherworker.net I had the sad news that he passed away. It was my intention to ask him where or how I can get these parts, so I am turning to you and the rest of the people on this board to help me out, if possible. My wife purchase a Consew 199RB 1-A about 8 months ago from a place in Lumberton, NC (T&T Liquidators), trying to get a faster and more industrial machine that her 3 Singers 20U Professionals (she loves the Singers, but she needed something more robust). Anyway, she works with Lycra, Spandex and 4 way stretch fabrics for theater apparel. She tried the machine at the place where she bought it and she thought it was fine. After bringing the machine back to her shop, everytime she places the fabric (less that two layers) it doesn't move the fabric, if there are more layers (like four or five, it will) but essentially it doesn't feed the fabric as she wants. So, she looked for plates and feed dogs like the Singer 20U has but she had no luck. She even asked the person who do the maintenance of her machines and told her that this Consew machine doesn't have that feed dog and plate. That is how I ended up in this forum and basically what I am asking if anybody can help me out to guide me where I could get these parts. Please see picture attached, from left to right CS139F and CS415F Our e-mail is thecoutureshop@yahoo.com and my phone # is 336-486-2424 Thank you! Northmount Report post Posted July 18, 2023 @TheCoutureShop I split your post off of the condolences to Gregg, so you have a new thread instead of contaminating the previous thread as it really doesn't belong there.
