Members Moti Posted November 11, 2023 Members Report Posted November 11, 2023 Hi all, now I mess up my sewing machine feed dog timing, and I can’t understand the manual, my machine is hightex 204 370 I just got new motor and I try to sew to fast to see if the motor is ok, so I am looking for a video on how to set the feed dog, if someone know of video like this plz, doesn’t need to be for 204 370 maybe something similar it’s ok, thanks Quote
Moderator Wizcrafts Posted November 12, 2023 Moderator Report Posted November 12, 2023 I usually adjust my feed dog so it is coming up as the inside foot is coming down. I have them meet at the level of the throat plate. Then as the needle and inside foot begin to move, the feed dog rises above the throat plate to help move the work. I try to keep the height to 1mm maximum. If the work has trouble feeding at that height, I lower the feed dog a little bit. The only rule is that is must be slightly above the height of the top of the throat plate and never below it. This would squish the bottom of the material into the slot. Quote
