Was really hoping someone could help me with adjusting the feed dog so I can get it to go back and forth correctly because right now it only goes into the center and to the front, it does not go all the way back making a full rotation like it should however I’m having a tough time understanding the manual where everything is at. Uwe Report post Posted December 6, 2023 I’m not sure what an Adler K268 looks like, either. Pics would be great. The Durkopp Adler 268 Service manual(DA-268-Service-Manual.pdf) describes how to adjust the feed dog position and movement on pages 6 and 7. Hopefully these instruction will work on your machine as well. In general the feed dog movement should be centered in the throat plate opening. There will likely be a gap in front and back even at the highest stitch length. You don’t want to the feed dod to touch the throat plate, ever.
