Hopefully, last question…

When I was working on threading, I accidentally loosened the second tension too much and it came apart.

Now, the last piece (spring) that the thread runs through before going through the moving arm does not seem to be working properly.

According to diagrams, there are 2 springs involved - one inner, one outer (that carries the thread away from that 2nd tensioner). The outer spring just flood - no spring tension. It would appear that it needs to engage the inner spring somehow, but I can’t find anything about reinstalling/connecting the 2 springs.

I have attached a picture of the outer and inner spring (all other 2nd tensioner pieces still removed.)

My only option other than this forum is a 3 hour roundtrip to Atlanta with my machine for repair.

I promise not to dismantle anything else if I can get this problem solved…

Thanks. I suspected that, but I didn’t want to do more damage. Hoping that that will solve the tension/skipped stitches issue.
