Mablung Report post Posted January 4 Round diamond files are your friend for such things. So is wet/dry sandpaper glued to a mandrel or dowel. Search through here for some methods. A good number of posts have discussed this kind of issue already.
bruce johnson Report post Posted January 7 Do the outsides on something with some give. I use a slack belt section on my belt grinders for the very edge. You can duplicate this effect by hand with a piece of neoprene (mousepad) and wet dry paper going through the grits. As advised above you can take the burr off the inside with a round diamond pile or wet-dry on a round dowel.

Thanks You can sharpen the outside bevel of the hole punch by hand on a stone, belt sander, sand paper or whatever you may have. Then you can use a 240 grit tapered cartridge sanding roll to clean up the inside of the hole punch. Just stick the cartridge roll in the end of the punch & give it a couple twists back & forth by hand & your punch will be sharp. Also they come in different diameters. These are a 1" diameter at the large end & ⅜diameter on the small end. Hope this may help.
