Very last second Christmas Present

Recommended Posts

I got to thinking that i didnt get anything for my adopted uncle. So i sat down about an hour before we were supposed to leave to go to the in laws for christmas to make a playing card case for my uncle. Good thing I did, because he showed up at the house right before we were leaving to drop off a gift for my son...

Took right at an hour.... I didnt do anything with the edges other than round them and did nothing with the inside.... I took two packs of cards and a piece of paper and folded it over and marked out how I wanted it, found a peice of scrap that was large enough to cut it from and did it.... the only thing that took any time with it was cutting the suit symbols into it... and beveling them... all in one dye and finish...well... looking at that pic.. I guess I used edge coat on it too.... didnt remember doing that...

That's a pretty good gift for only an hours work! I'm with Freak, I couldn't get it laid out and cut in an hours time. Impressive to say the least.
