Hi everyone,

I am getting into leather shoe making and I am drawn to the Seiko tf-6 (or similar models). Unfortunately it doesn't look like I am able to source one easily from where I am (Calgary, AB, Canada).

I know that the Singer 18 is similar, but I was wondering if there are any other similar machines that people could recommend?

Thank you!

The Seiko TF - 6 was a left handed machine drop feed machine using a max thread size of V92. I think this series has been dropped and now the right handed drop feed machines are the only ones available now in the TE series which also have a thread max of V92.

Have you considered maybe a post bed machine?????

I did a very quick search on Alibaba and could not find a drop feed cylinder arm.

if it has to be a left stand machine look for Pfaff 24 or 27, Adler 49 .

alternatively Singer 17, Pfaff 28, Adler 48  (all right stand)

Thanks so much for the information! I will take a look for these!
