Sidney Wood Report post Posted February 9, 2007 Are there any problems with attaching html files with a little embedded CSS for short posts of a tutorial nature, either technical or common practice and courtesy. I have become interested in the web page thing and am using it to document stuff for my own use because it is simpler then Word to do some things I want. (a little CSS goes a long way) Sidney Wood
dsenette Report post Posted February 9, 2007 the IPB board (at least in this form) doesn't support HTML posts......you can however...attach the html files (which now that i'm actually reading what you said....is what you want to do)

Sidney Wood Report post Posted February 9, 2007 Just wondered if they would open from an attachment and mostly if it was not bad manners or something , as I have never noticed anybody doing it. I am working on some single page stuff about braided knots and edge lacing that I thought somebody might be interested in. (actually I am using Crimson editor and firefox in place of a w.p to produce some printed archives for my own use.) Sidney Wood
Johanna Report post Posted February 9, 2007 Anything like that that anyone wants to share can also be hosted right here on leatherworker.net. I'll be glad to help any way I can. I can also make pdfs for people to download. Sidney, I am anxious to see what you're working on. Lacing, braiding and knots are fascinating to me, and I'm sure other people will be just as interested. Johanna

Most of what I have now is the beginnings of a conversion of a 26 page Word doc on the basic turkshead knots and some lacing techniques. I would like to get it started someplace and let it grow. The main purpose being to get some feedback (beta test , sort of). Thank you for your interest. Sidney Wood
Johanna Report post Posted February 10, 2007 Anybody can send anything, in any format, to johanna@nktelco.net and I will upload it to leatherworker and post the link. If you just want a gallery, all I need are the pictures. If you have captions for them, even better. If you have a website, this is a great way to encourage traffic to your site because I can make your pages link to your site, which will promote your business and reputation. Sidney, send me what you have and I'll be glad to give you a section of your own. I have unlimited space, so don't worry about size. There is going to be a whole other side of leatherworker.net that is not the forum, and I'd be thrilled to include your work, too. If there is anything special you want, send me a PM and I'm sure we can work it out. Johanna
