As some of you may remember we are in the repairs game and we don't MAKE jackets &c/ Some time back we were discussing WW2 flight jackets and just for fun we started putting together a design that we might have submitted to the Ministry of Supply back in the 1930s bearing in mind what we now know 100 years on and it turned into a sort-of project.  And so here is another of the jackets we don't make   :-)

Very, very nicely done. I would think the coat would be better suited for colder winter climates like we have in Canada and would probably be overkill for the UK climate.

Its not 'overkill' for the UK market

Plenty of motorcyclists would buy it. I would buy it

I can see that as a market. I would just wonder how it would hold up to "road rash". I was thinking more for the average joe consumer and considering that in the UK winter average temperature is above 0 Celsius where in Canada it's - 15 and gets down to -50 Celsius without a wind chill factor.

very nice!  Your customer will love it, I'm sure.

I'm the proud owner of a genuine B-3 bomber jacket.  It's not often cold enough in my area to need it, but when it does get that cold, I'm happy to have it.

I would wear that all winter while working out in the wind and snow. Very nicely done, really like the underarm ventilation... Nothing worse than having soaking wet armpits when its -10F.

Well, if you're not making them anyway. . .  Why not put a hand warmer pockets on it?  While I don't have any experience flying open cockpits, I have a lot of time on a motorcycle in freezing temperatures and welcome any chance to warm my freezing paws.  JM2C, Jim

I'd buy that for a dollar! (movie reference)

OK - a hundred at least - for my bike riding!  😁

make that belt a real kidney belt, the rest all one color and you have it imo.
