George Hurst videos from Hide crafters

Does anyone know if the George Hurst videos from Hide crafters still $5.00? I tried finding them on their website but it didn't say.

Hide Crafters carries a slew of Hurst's videos ranging in price from $6.95 to $19.95 according to their catalog. The catalog is in a pdf format and the file is huge (approx 17mb) so it downloads best on DSL or be very patient. You will need Acrobat Reader to open a pdf but it is free and I think the link is offered on the Hide Crafter web site.

I don't know if they are still on sale, but a simple phonecall would let you know. Theirs is a toll free #, 1-888-263-5277. The sale price was only for the vhs, not the dvd versions. I do know that they were making extra copies during their sale(because of the large demand) & they told me that they were not going to make anymore after the sale ended. But then they had financial problems & were sold, and things radically changed, so they still may have (or still make) copies. Hey, it's worth a free phone call for them to say yea or nay... If you find out, let others on the board know.

I tried calling the other day and didn't get an answer. I also emailed them and still haven't heard anything.

I just called Hide Crafters and they no longer have VHS tapes for $5.00.

But, they did have George Hurst DVD's in-stock when I was in there a week or so ago.

They also have some goat lacing in-stock. I still prefer kangaroo, but the price is nice. Around $11/25 yards as I recall.

I visited hidecrafters last evening and they had several videos by George Hurst, none were 5 bucks though. As for the goat lacing, I did see that up on the counter, but I bought a goat hide from one of the back tables for about $20 and I can make waaaaaay more lace than on the spool with the lace maker tool.
