Contributing Member wolvenstien Posted February 20, 2007 Contributing Member Report Posted February 20, 2007 I am making bags for bikes, and was asker the other day to make a bag for a guy for his windshield. It is a single hole mount bag, and the bag he has on it has a special bracket on the back and a flexible slat of metal inside the bag to keep it from sagging over time. I am attaching a pic I got from a web site of the back of the bag with the bracket. Alot of the custom windshields have a need for this bracket to keep them level and from spinning. Anyone know where I can get these so i can incorporate them into some windshield bags I intend to make in the future? Quote
Members SmilinJim Posted February 20, 2007 Members Report Posted February 20, 2007 Have you tried ohiotravelbags.com? I couldn't get the pages to load but they have everything for bags, or very nearly so. It may be a start anyway. Jim Quote

Members Hoyden Posted February 22, 2007 Members Report Posted February 22, 2007 Ohio Travel Bag is pretty good about responses. I have a bunch of biker friends on one of the pit bull forums I'm on, I'll ask them if they might know where you might find it. Quote
Contributing Member wolvenstien Posted February 22, 2007 Author Contributing Member Report Posted February 22, 2007 Cool, thanks Hoyden Quote

Contributing Member wolvenstien Posted March 19, 2007 Author Contributing Member Report Posted March 19, 2007 (edited) You know, I have a fabrication shop close by, and I stopped in and talked to a guy about making some for me... he took measurments, and my number but hasnt called me back, I stopped by a week later to check on progress and he told me he had been sick, and just getting back to work, so i told him it was cool, and I would stop by in a week... Today (monday) is a week, and I intend on stopping by to see him and see if he has them ready for me... not sure what avenue I will have available to me if he isnt able to make them or just deciudes he doesnt want to make them for me.
