What kind of cow leather is this?

What kind of leather cowhide is this? I know that it’s cow based off the smell, but if anybody has any particular type is a veg and or chrome tan? If you have any links, that would be great.

this leather is really smooth. It looks like it would have a textured feel, but it’s smooth.

I am going to say it is pebbled calfskin, like the RMG Pomari. This is a 3oz leather.

 

Or something like a shrunken calfskin. The shrunken calfskin is too heavy at 6oz so it would need to be split down to 2-3oz leather.
