Hags Report post Posted Saturday at 01:12 AM (edited) I can se where it would. Do you supply the knives, or just the sheath? Very nice! I have thought of doing something similar with a knifekits.com modern tactical, a very nice, substantial knife, and maybe a 2 blade trapper. Or customers send me a knife and I make a sheath to fit their knife, if I do not have it.

Brokenolmarine Report post Posted Sunday at 05:05 AM (edited) Nice clean work. I can see where it would sell well. I have a few buck knives still, including a collectable issued by the Fish and Game when I worked for them. I gave a few of them to the kids as they moved away and might need one to keep in the car or whatever. AlZilla Report post Posted Sunday at 05:31 AM Interesting. Someone on here mentioned a clip-on pocket sheath for non-clip knives a few days ago. I ordered some clips and I'm going to play with that idea.

DwightT Report post Posted 20 hours ago Probably personal taste, but I don't like those clips. I've had a couple instances where the case would push up and off of my belt when I sat down. Now I just use a belt loop, maybe with a snap at the bottom so that I don't have to undo my belt to add the case. /dwight

So now I just put the belt loop on them unless a customer ask for a snap or clip. Never had a belt loop come un done.

Another great idea!
Thadrick Report post Posted 2 hours ago I made an mp3 player sheath using those clips, (both large and small clips) so I can just hook it to my penny pocket on my jeans. I use it mostly when im working around the boiler plant so I can relocate it on my body depending on my tasks. Sometimes on my hip pocket and sometimes on my front pocket. After only 3 months of use, my jeans started coming out of the laundry with frayed pockets. The clips are made from stamped steal and they have sharp edges so, beware to use Emory cloth to smooth them up. The phone holsters I made using clips hook to my belt and they chew up the leather too, but never had one pop off.
