Members Avalaynah Posted 8 hours ago Members Report Posted 8 hours ago Hello Machinery Folks! Currently researching and shopping around for a medium duty machine and came across this listing on Facebook. However all the gadgetry under the table has me scratching my head. There are also 2 foot pedals. One attached to the motor and the other to the box to the right of those gauges. Any idea what these are? https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/1gl6di4rwhhoi6vuxvu8o/IMG_0708.jpg?rlkey=ig5efgh2y340d0faavotfvef5&st=ugouygoe&dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/v6cv44vghkuytsftrr3fd/IMG_0707.jpg?rlkey=d028qlcyq6msp8uy6i0g7v3l3&st=fbzwbpw6&dl=0 Quote
Members dikman Posted 6 hours ago Members Report Posted 6 hours ago That machine requires a compressed air line attached to the air gauges at the left and uses the air to operate the foot lift, amongst other things. The right side foot pedal is normally used to lift the feet. I wouldn't want that machine unless it was virtually given to me because of all the complexity built into it. None of it is really needed for sewing leather and if it develops a fault will be expensive to repair. If it was given to me I would remove the motor and associated controls and replace with a servo motor. Just my thoughts on it. Quote
