Members leahmarkman Posted Sunday at 01:32 AM Members Report Posted Sunday at 01:32 AM (edited) I am planning on investing in a larger clicker press and am wondering if anyone here has experience with working with either of these machines? Side by side they are very close, BG's is slightly cheaper, has a larger opening giving it more range for die heights. I've read Weaver is made in the US and easy to work with and has been recommended more often, but am not sure exactly why. Any insight here? Members AaronStand Posted Monday at 07:12 PM Members Report Posted Monday at 07:12 PM (edited) I will add that BG is currently out of stock on the 12-Ton. I only know because I reached out myself 4 weeks ago and they do not know when it will be back in stock. Thankfully they had a prototype version in the warehouse that they discounted me on. Also, the 12-ton is advertised as 8 tons when utilizing the shorter handle, 12 tons with the longer handle. Does this mean you can slap a longer handle on a Weaver 8-Ton and achieve 12 tons? I don't know myself, but very well may be the case. Edited Monday at 07:13 PM by AaronStand Quote
