Since I started having classes in my shop, I found that students can get to a finished product much faster using a hard plastic template, even over using cardboard.  So I took some of my paper patterns and converted them to acrylic.  Granted, one can still use paper, folders, or cardboard to create their items, but wanted to have something that would last a little longer and not lose it's shape over time.  Anyhow, if this might be something you would like to investigate for yourself, take a look at my website.  https://pastorbobleather.com/product-category/acrylic-templates/.  I also have holster patterns as well.  Thanks!
