Members kidbeey Posted April 24 Members Report Posted April 24 Recently acquired this old girl, 1902 vintage. I notice it doesn’t have a thread tension spring. Wanting to know if it would have originally had one. I read that the 29K4 has one. However, the machine does sew without skipped stitches. Thanks. Gary Quote
Members Tigweldor Posted April 24 Members Report Posted April 24 (edited) Do you mean the spring on the inside of the needle bar ? AFAIK the very early needle bars did not have this spring built in - if it sews without any probs - just keep it that way. Greetings Hans Edited April 24 by Tigweldor Quote
