Members wjw Posted Friday at 12:14 PM Members Report Posted Friday at 12:14 PM I have an old set of hardened leather armor. It has developed a white film on top. How do I recondition it to remove it? I am thinking it needs to be re-heated, but I do not know the temperature or for how long. Thank you for the help! Quote

I don’t do these things to other people, and I require the same from them.” THE DUKE!
Contributing Member fredk Posted Friday at 06:32 PM Contributing Member Report Posted Friday at 06:32 PM Sound like it was wax hardened and the excess wax is rising to the surface. Play a hand-held hair-dryer on heat over the surface and rub/buff at the same time. See if that cures it Quote Al speling misteaks aer all mi own werk..
