PastorBob Posted July 28 Report Posted July 28 Man, those look sharp. Did you use Tokonole finish on the outside? Quote In God's Grace, Pastor Bob "While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." - Romans 5:8 www.PastorBobLeather.com YouTube Channel
Members bsshog40 Posted July 28 Members Report Posted July 28 Those look great! I bought me some of those clips a couple years back but have never used them. I noticed you used screws to secure them. Are the holes in the leather just punched for the screws? Stabilized in any way? Great job again!!! Quote
Members rleather Posted July 29 Members Report Posted July 29 Not really a fan of rough out, but man you really made it look great! Quote
Members larry1096 Posted July 29 Author Members Report Posted July 29 Thanks for the kind words-means a lot! After wet-forming, I used Weaver's 'leather firmer', since I want my holsters to be as stiff and sturdy as possible. After that, there's a dip in Resolene, and that's the entirety of the finish. The clip is mounted to slotted posts mounted under the reinforcement piece wrapped around the mouth of the holster. Larry Quote
