Union Special machine setup installation and modifications

Looking for any information on how to properly mount an industrial sewing machine to a submerged table top.  More specifically, what mounts are needed if any to attach any of the Union Special 30000 and 50000 series machines.  Or point me in the direction where I can get answers to question about older Union Special industrial machines on how to set them up and customize them for other uses.

I think the standard method is just to bolt it to a piece of plywood and "suspend" it under a table on pieces of allthread.  You'd need to make a cutout in the actual table that is compatible with the contours of the machine.
