I'm trying to set the height on the feet dogs but I have a lot of play going up and down.

I red in the engineering's adjustment guide that you must press it in the direction of the arrow or the washer will fall out costing play but I have not been able to find an arrow or a washer however I do have the play how can I get rid of it please help me.

Is this a newly acquired machine?

Has the feed dog moved correctly (without play) in the past?
