tonyc1 Report post Posted February 26, 2008 Here is an example of down to earth postal charges. I just bought another couple of edgers from Ron's Tools. These came in a small carton measuring 7 1/2" x 7"x 2 1/4" and were well packed and the cost of postage to Australia was only $8.65. This size package would easily hold the same types of tools and easily hold a headknife and yet some sellers on Ebay want $25.00 - $29.00 to post what should be the same size package app. Some sellers like to screw the last cent possible from buyers. I'd recommend Ron's Tools to anyone for quick, inexpensive service and a good product!

okiwen Report post Posted February 27, 2008 Ron lives right here in town. Great person all the way around. His saddle stand is really good. Once you get past the initial cost it's well worth the hassle saved. By the by, he also has a very clean Landis 16 for sale.

RockyWolf Report post Posted March 7, 2008 The eBay thing I get angry about sellers putting more on the posting costs to lower there listing and selling fees that they have to pay eBay.. you will see at lot of this with listings from China and Hong kong but looks like eBay are about to be sorting this out at long last.. I also get narked when you pay £2.00 posting only to see when the item came though the post box 55p I know good wrapping costs time and cash but come on.. not that much It's no good trying to undercut the other eBay seller just to sell the item..You have to list you items at a price to cover your costs of the listing and eBay fees and if you are going to use PayPal when selling add this in as well offering discounts regarding what every banking method is used is also a good selling point on eBay also if your a seller Shipping your item as fast as you can is also a good winner and the more remakes in your feedback regarding fast shipping will win over the customer hands and feet over a seller who do's not care about giving any type of customer service..
