BillB Report post Posted February 27, 2008 Johanna - Not sure if this would be a section in the forum or a section on the web page. I have a number of leather items that my Grandfather did as well as antiques that I have picked up along the way. I would be willing to share pictures of these works. Since they are not my work, I was not sure where I could put them so others could see and possible get ideas of their own. When my grandfather passed on I got all of his tools and work so I guess I am the caretake of those so there should be no problem in sharing them. Johanna Report post Posted February 27, 2008 That's a really good idea- a leather history section! Let me run that past the staff. I know a lot of us are interested in the old-timers, and the way they did things. Great suggestion, and I'm looking forward to seeing your grandfather's work. TracyMoss Report post Posted February 27, 2008 I think that is a great idea. I can't wait to see what every one has in their collection. I have seen some pretty neat ideas on some old hand-made tools. I stole one of those ideas and made myself a push beveler out of and an old horseshoe. Like those hoof picks, but with a beveled edge.
