Pattern for 2 Button Navajo moccasins

Am looking to make the 2 button Navajo moccasins and am having trouble finding a pattern.

Has anyone made a pair or knows where I can find a pattern?

I was at Barnes and Noble the other night, and found the Navajo Moccasin pattern you are looking for. I was in the section of books that had Native American Indian books. I don't remember the name of the book, but I know there is one out there. If I get a chance I will go back and see if I can get the name of the book for you.

I found a book in our library called "Native American Leather & bead crafing which has 3 moccasin patterns. It's by Patty Cox. Copyright 2008. Nothing that looks like a 2 button moc but has some interesting stuff combining beading and leather.

The are called kaibab moccasins. I talked to a Navajo friend of mine yesterday and he is going to try and make a pattern and instructions. I will post them when I get them.

I found the next patterns of mocs in an old box of a friend of mine, might help. It's a great start for the kaibab mocs
