somehow or other I got on the mailing list for Van Dykes Taxidermy, and they do have some tools that are useful to the leather folks (needles, and syringes for measuring dyes and thinners) saw some useful tools in there. http://www.vandykestaxidermy.com/

I'm new here, so i don't know how well crude humor goes over...

but there is a video on that website called "How to Mount a Small Mammal".

creepy...yet funny.

Anyway, Boreal Laboratories has been good for eyedroppers and scalpel and other medical/science supplies for me... though it's been years since i've tanned a hide and don't know whether i bought from them as a wholesaler or "regular" customer.
