Members OutBackP Posted February 19, 2009 Members Report Posted February 19, 2009 Hey Harvery, I use a plugin for firefox called download helper. Quote
Contributing Member rdb Posted February 19, 2009 Contributing Member Report Posted February 19, 2009 If You use one of the firefox extensions, like suggested...they will be saved onto your hard drive as files with the extension .flv. In order to play them on your dvd, you will have to have a software that will convert from .flv to something that will play on your dvd. Modern dvd players can play .mp3, mp4, mpg, etc., or you can convert to divx. VLC media is free, and can convert, but there's a lot of software out there that is free, and will do a bit better conversion job. Quote
Members Vikti Posted February 19, 2009 Members Report Posted February 19, 2009 You can also go to www.kissyoutube.com and enter in the url of the video you want and download it that way also. Then you can get a program called Free FLV Converter that will allow you to convert it to .avi, mpeg-3 & 4, ipod formats and a few others. Quote
Members Kani Posted February 20, 2009 Members Report Posted February 20, 2009 You can download them to your pc and then burn them to your dvd. Becareful. You can get a virus from youtube videos. I did. Quote

Members dickf Posted February 23, 2009 Members Report Posted February 23, 2009 Just remember, they are highly compressed videos and won't look all that great when sent to a DVD. (especially on larger TV's - 32" and up.) Quote
