Very nice work Taco!

Looks like you're very handy with your stitching machine.

I just got myself a Black Berry but wouldn't buy the case for them...too darn expensive....I'll have to make me one today...film at 6 !!

-The extra holes in the case are so you can move the sam brown buttons so the case will also fit a I-Phone.

- The leather I'm using for both cases is just plain old Vegtan with Fiebings Pro Oil Dye Drk Brown.

-I have a Tippmann sewing machine, and I also use my Singer 201-02 Machine.

Thanks!

I have just the slip cover case that came with my blackberry. It's got a chip in it that the phone senses when it's in there - so it can have different ringers or whatever when it's in the case. I've been thinking of deconstructing my slip case to get that chip out and making one with a belt clip perhaps.

Nice BB holster. Do you spend a lot of time at the Tandy store on the east end of SA? The reason I ask is because I have seen that belt loop before in SA.

Nice work!

Greetings from Round Rock, Texas

Note: I like the thin Stolhman angle blade once it was resharpened thanks for Scissormedic.

Yes, thats where I work, at the Tandy on Walzem Rd. And I got the belt loop idea from a fellow named Fred P. He's a good friend of mine.

It is not a chip. It is a small magnet.

I am not sure the minimum streangth required.

A fridge magnet is too weak. I have heard that a neodynium?? available at Hobby Lobby or Michaels works good. #2 or #3 strength. I amtrying to make one for my BB but am afraid to get a magnet that is too strong and will mess with the plastic in my wallet if it gets too close.

The magnet goes over the GH keys if you hold one over it you will see it go to sleep.

Some very nice work there. I too have made myself a BB phone holder and used a small rare earth magnet hidden in the back of the pouch. I glued it in place on the back part of the pouch (where the phone would pass over it and activate) and then covered the magnet only in very thin leather, just enough to cover the magnet, then lined the inside leaving a hole where the magnet can do its job but is still leather covered to allow no scratching of the phone. I have put up a couple of my pictures for you to look at and a few others.

Cheers

Trevor
