Members joelawton Posted March 24, 2009 Members Report Posted March 24, 2009 Hello, I'm a fine furniture maker near Telluride, CO. I'm designing a couple of backgammon tables that I'll be showing at various furniture shows. I'm wondering if anyone could tell me where to start looking for a craftsman that could custom make the leather playing surface that I would inlay into the table top and what I should be asking about or looking for in terms of quality. The furniture is refined and of high quality, and I would like the leatherwork to be equal to that. Thanks for your help. Joe Lawton Quote
Moderator Johanna Posted March 24, 2009 Moderator Report Posted March 24, 2009 When I think gameboards, I think of CitizenKate because hers are just fantastic. I have no idea how busy she is at the moment, but you can always ask, right? If nothing else, she may know someone who can help you. Johanna Quote

Members ROCKIESLEATHERMAN Posted April 3, 2009 Members Report Posted April 3, 2009 Hi Joe, I do leather work and saddle repair and I am down in Denver. Could you send me some pics of your backgammon tables and some measurements and I can get back with you on a price(do you have a price in mind?). When do you need them by?
